Tax deductible donations

Queensland Musical Theatre is a DGT Schedule 1 organisation which means all monetary donations are tax deductible. At this stage, we can only accept donation via TryBooking’s donation page or bank transfer. If you require a bank transfer, please email treasurer@queenslandmusicaltheatre.com to provide you with our details and a tax receipt can be issued for your kind donation. The company has been operating since 2005 with a long list of exhibitions and conventions, installations, theatrical productions, festivals and countless other shows in its varied event history. Gillian Peterson

Life member Gillian Peterson’s contribution to Queensland Musical Theatre is priceless. Always willing to assist with creating and mending countless costumes for the cast, even through production week, Gillian demonstrates the true spirit of community theatre.

Whilst her workmanship has been seen on the QMT stage for over 10 years, her most recent dress making efforts were worn by our Annie, Grace Farrell and Lily St Regis in QMT’s 2019 production of “Annie”. The high quality, handmade pieces were a vital asset in bringing these principal characters to life.

Gillian’s contribution to QMT’s shows enable our productions to shine with a well-dressed cast that our audiences have come to expect. Thank you Gillian!

Victoria Bladen

Victoria has been a supportive cast member on QMT’s stage and has been a generous donor and supporter of the company’s endeavours. Willing to lend a hand and assist with the promotion of each season, Victoria’s involvement contributes to our enduring success.

Most recently, Victoria donated an original painting as a raffle prize to the Mamma Mia! production and created an original mosaic octopus for the set which has also been sold subsequent to the show as a fund raiser. On behalf of all of us involved with Queensland Musical Theatre, thank you Victoria!

Bequests and gifts after life

Nick Neild

In cherished memory we celebrate Nick Neild’s contribution to Queensland Musical Theatre and the betterment of the performing arts in Queensland. Nick’s significant generosity in bequeathing a portion of his estate has allowed QMT to continue to produce quality theatre at affordable prices. We posthumously thank Nick for his gifts of time and donations in life and in the remarkable gift from his estate.
